Digital Sales Development Representative

Purpose/Mission: To drive sales through the US store of the company's e-commerce website. To increase traffic to the website via e-mail, marketing, social media, Facebook, paid search and pay per click. To grow the US sales and revenue through website sales.

Create and autonomously update personal activity plans providing in depth detail on current work plans/projects, progress updates on all plans/projects and all updates on future plans/projects. 
 
To drive revenue through sales on the US store of the company e-commerce website via email, marketing, social media, Facebook, paid search and pay per click.
Propose ways of improving the website including page layout and general website development ideas.
 
To carry out on-going analysis of the US store of the company e-commerce website.
Support the Digital Marketing Manager with Social Media content when required.
 
To increase and implement new traffic streams. To propose website content and page layout ideas to maximise website sales. 
Maintain own social media knowledge and trends for support to team.
 
To generate and source new leads, revenue retention and new business sales across a suite of content services
To maintain relationships with external partners/parties to ensure objectives are met and Company requirements are implemented.
 
To pro-actively conduct research to scope target industries/clients.
Assist with on site SEO building for all company websites.
 
Provide a weekly report for the Executive Sales & Marketing Director & IT Director based on work completed and work ongoing and future projects, with deadlines, in conjunction with external agencies.
Assist with the maintenance and up keep of all company websites where applicable.
 
To adhere to all objectives and KPIs as set and agreed with the International Sales & Marketing Executive Director/IT Director.
 
 
To ensure all on page contact on the website is regularly updated.
 
 
To develop and maintain relevant customer, partner and supplier contacts to establish and develop long-term relationships and increase sales opportunities.
 
 
To ensure that the database of customers, contacts, key influencers and suppliers, along with their contact details, are maintained and updated on a regular and timely basis.
 
 
 
To hold responsibility for database segmentation project. Identify key customer segments and recommend e-mail activity.
 
 
 
To hold responsibility for weekly Company communications for web/blog/e-mail figures and reporting, ensuring that all data is accurate and timely. 
 
 
 
To take responsibility for one’s own continuing professional development.
 
 
To ensure the Company’s Health and Safety and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities expressed and implied which arise from the nature and character of the position.

Educated to minimum High School Diploma.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
At least 5 years experience working within digital sales.
Experience and knowledge of online traffic streams.
 
Experience in using CRM/e-commerce systems such as Magento is essential.
Experience in imagery and copy.
A strong understanding and grasp of the digital online environment.
Self motivated and ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office(Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Enthusiastic and collaborative team player
Knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and current Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) compilation such as LESS or SCSS with Grunt, Gulp or NPM.
 
Excellent English - both written and spoken.
 
Excellent communication.
