Document Control Specialist
This is a full-time position requiring knowledge and experience in the execution of document change management processes.  Seeking a candidate with exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong word processing, technical writing and record keeping experience.
Job Requirements:
  • Execute, maintain, and improve the Document Control program per internal and regulatory policies and procedures;
  • Create new and revise existing procedures and checklists as necessary with a high level of ability in QMS document formatting, and accuracy
  • Support Document Change Request (DCR) processes; word-process final version of new or revised documents for approval
  • Resolve documentation issues with collaboration of subject matter experts and technical staff
  • Maintain all Quality Department records, including archival, retention, and destruction
  • Administer the IQS Quality software system
  • Train personnel on the IQS software system, especially the Document Control process
  • Maintain employee training records in IQS
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer and regulatory audits
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor degree (B. A.) or equivalent education/work experience
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and extremely high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Advanced functional experience in the following:
    • Microsoft WORD
    • Microsoft EXCEL
  • Ability to think strategically in order to improve current processes
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal daily instruction
